Sage Emmer

A gorgeous loaf made entirely with British-grown grains, including emmer, a distinctive landrace variety. Its delicate, nutty flavour is balanced by the addition of crisp flakes of gently roasted sage, which also adds to the texture. We bake it in moulds to ensure a crisp and crunchy base, and top with a full-flavoured extra virgin olive oil and Maldon sea salt, which respectively delivers a moist crumb and a textured surface.
